Popular city areas include the Castle of Santa Bàrbara, the palm-tree lined Explanada de España promenade and the colourful Barrio de la Santa Cruz quarter. Another well-known festival is Moors and Christians (Moros y Cristianos) in Altozano or San Blas district.
